About me
Hello! I'm Marija, a native speaking Croatian voice artist, actress and singer with a passion for bringing text to life through sound. I am a playful person and this is the reason I love this job so much, I get to be creative and be another character every day.
My voice is my instrument, it’s how I express myself, how I connect and tell stories that others can feel. My voice is youthful, warm, and versatile, well-suited for projects that call for authenticity, clarity, and emotional depth. Whether it’s a commercial, an audiobook, or an animation, I focus on finding the right tone and rhythm to capture the listener’s attention and make the message feel real.
I’ve been connected to voice and performance for most of my life. I started singing as a child, and for the past four years I’ve been training in private vocal lessons to further develop my technique and artistic expression. I also act at Medley Teatar (The Acting Studio). Before focusing on voice-over, I worked in radio production and hosting, which gave me a solid foundation in narration, recording, and working with audio professionally.
Through standing behind the microphone and on the stage, I’ve developed a strong sense of how voice, pacing, and nuance can shape a story or brand. I will create a recording that sounds natural, engaging, and easy to listen to. What matters most to me is creating something real, a performance that feels natural, relatable, and emotionally true. Every project is a collaboration, and I value clear communication and reliability. My goal is simple: to deliver a performance that connects, both with you and with your audience.
If you want to know something more personal about me, I am a geeky romantic soul. I love to sing, act, anything psychology related, play tabletop role-playing games and I recently got into LARPs as well. I come from a big family, and love my nieces who never judge me for talking with funny voices. I have a lovely dog too. While waiting for all the people to get into the live recording session, we can easily chat about these things.
